An attractive small finca situated in the natural park of Los Alcornocales at El Ventorillo, between Los Angeles and Marchenilla, and within easy reach of Sotogrande and Gibraltar.

El Buho (the Owl) as it is known, is a converted roadside inn (Venta) with original exposed wooden beams and bracing timbers. It is completely rustic in appeal and the accommodation comprises a bright and airy kitchen with archway through to a cosy living room with a large fireplace. A hallway leads off this room to the two bedrooms and the family bathroom. Attached to the back of the building is a covered terrace overlooking the pool and garden.

Adjacent to the main building is a separate building comprising two stables and a storeroom, with covered open storage at the end. There is direct access from the stables to the paddocks and the Vereda Real (Royal Road) which is the main access to the park and its cork woods. This country road is a stone hardened track and forms part of the GR7 trans-europe walking route, and connects directly with the village of Jimena de la Frontera 4 km to the north.

The back of the house leads on to a sub-tropical garden of lawns, flower beds and fruit trees. The pool is currently used as an aquatic garden with water lilies, but this could easily be reinstated as a swimming pool. The land then gradually slopes down to the banks of the river Hozgarganta, where water can be extracted for irrigation during the summer months.
